Nutritional Health Coaching Programme

Our nutritional health coaching programme is an integrated and holistic approach encompassing all aspects of lifestyle choices and behaviours. Health is not compartmentalised, every aspect of our lives has an impact on our mental and physical health, for better or worse. Each category of the coaching programme is fully customised and unique to the client.
As a certified integrative medicine practitioner I utilise the best of conventional, lifestyle and holistic approaches to improve health and wellbeing. The coaching programme examines the factors in your life that impact your mental and physical health; beginning with a comprehensive Lifestyle and Health Questionnaire, we will discuss your health priorities and explore the changes that will bring about the best results for you in terms of your health, lifestyle and personal goals.
The coaching programme consists of four main categories, each encompassing a broad spectrum of factors:
Lifestyle
A broad category that looks at how you live, your family, and social connections. The areas of your life that you value and that give you meaning, for example spirituality or faith. It's about your connection to your mind, body, and environment.
Nutrition
What you eat, and perhaps more importantly, what you don't eat provides the foundation of your mental and physical health. Many of the essential neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin (mood chemicals) are produced in the gut, a diet low in nutrients will reduce the levels of these chemicals and adversely impact mental health, issues such as depression and anxiety are directly impacted by poor nutrition.
Self Care
Everything starts with self-care, how much time and effort do you invest in caring for your health and wellbeing, where is self-care on your list of priorities? I will show you how to make changes so that self-care becomes second nature and you find what works for you.
Mind Matters
We know that our mindset directly impacts our mental and physical health, negative thoughts adversely affect the chemicals in our brain, leading to a whole host of issues including depression and anxiety. Together we will explore any negative thought patterns you may be experiencing, and identify more positive patterns going forward
When we have established your aims and goals based on the information from your Lifestyle and Health questionnaire we begin the fun part of how you can implement these changes, at your pace and to suit your preferences. That being said, my role as your coach is to encourage and gently challenge you to move out of your comfort zone and try new things. It is only too easy to become stuck in habits and behaviours that we know are detrimental to our health, in order to make changes we have to try different things.
"The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results."
